I didn't know it would take so much pains just to get that $2000.
AHHHH.
I'm talking about the DSTA scholarship Miss Li told me I was eligible for.
I think I'm so suaku. HAHA.
I thought all I had to do was to go to the website, enter a few particulars, and then, whoa-lah, I'm done. And I thought I could get the whole $2000 scholarship like within these few months.
BUT.
Firstly. I only will receive $1000. IF my application is successful.
But I need to have outstanding promo results before they will give the other $1000. Haaa..
Secondly. There's truckloads of particulars to fill in! It's like totally, tiring. LOL. I won't mind if they were easy to fill in.
But you know.
I have to fill in stuff like what university course I intend to take, WHICH I DON'T KNOW YET. Hahaha. So I just put medicine.
In addition, I have to do an essay question they provided in the application form. -.-
Eh come on, as if O levels wasn't enough. Lol.
And they put a footnote there, saying : not more than 500 words.
OHMY.
That means you expect me to write like 300-400 words.
Lol.
Thirdly. I think even after submitting application, we will still be called for interview. Arghs.
I feel very tempted to just give up applying for this thing.
BUT IT'S $2000!!!
zzZ! :(
Okay lah. I know I know. They also want the best people for their scholarship mah. They want to sift out those who enter the particulars in a slip-shod manner, those who don't take the scholarship seriously. Who cares if you got good results anyway right. You gotta have character. And show that you really want it. You really really want the scholarship.
I think they smart loh. Make people go through troubles to even apply. It doesn't even guarantee the scholarship. Ha. This way then they'll be able to tell the best from the worse.
Haha. I think I very suaku. I never apply for scholarship before.
Didn't know it was gonna be so troublesome.
Sigh.
Haha.
Okay.
I ranted.
I think I'm just gonna do it anyway. :/
School was quite waste time. Haha.
The J2s having roadrun on the school track. Then the J1s cheering them on (supposedly) from the spectator's seats. But my clique ended up having picnic down there.
Yeah *picnic* with CNY goodies. HAHAH. It's super funnn.
Joanne didn't come to school cos she went to Malaysia with her family. I think she got reunion dinner there or sth. Quite cool huh.
After school, I went for lunch with some class people. Ying Loo, Felise, Siew Chi, Bryan and Benjamin.
Went shopping at Bugis with Ying Loo and Siew Chi. Woahh.
Bought:
Sparkly slippers at $16.90.
Light grey short dress at $10.
White shirt at $10.
The checkered collared shirts are only selling at $22! Quite cheap compared to department store or shopping mall shops. Haha. I'll save up.
Reunion dinner was.. not really unusual in any way. :)
Don't have to say much.
I will live to love You
I will live to bring You praise
I will live, a child in awe of You
