Sick day.
Down with a reeeally bad cold.
--> running nose + running eyes + phlegm = yucks!
Hahah. But I'm fine really. Heh. Thanks for classmates' concern, I love all you people okay!
And then. Benjy picked that idea for the potato salad for the Mardi Gras carnival. Let's prove everyone else wrong and make the
best potato salad yes? Ahah.
There's this really bad lame joke I've been wanting to blog about since 34234689 million years ago. Hahah. It all started when Sabrina passed by me in school and told me this lame joke.
"What's up?"
Answer: Ceiling.
And then as if that wasn't lame enough, Ying Loo had to add on:
"What's up?"
My age.
"What's down?"
My grades.
OKAY MAYBE IT DOESNT SOUND FUNNY HERE. But you gotta hear it in school man. It's the lamest, most speechless joke ever!!
Rawwrhhs.
Oh yes. And about
Sunday's birthday celebration for Pastor Lia.
It's amazingly superlificiously funny and creative and exciting!! =DD
I'm sure everyone had a blast laughing and laughing and ..
laughing.
But also the
really best part was the part when Pastor Lia told us the story of Matt Redman and why he composed the song The Heart of Worship.
It really touched my heart. And we worshipped God with that song. God's presence was so strong. Pastor Lia prayed for all the worship leaders. And then I cried. I could really feel that our pastors have a
heart for raising up people. Seeing these people who used to be so ordinary, rise up and serve God, it really made me cry.
The song The Heart of Worship was just so powerful. Especially after knowing the true meaning and story behind it. Singing it over and over again just made me want to sing it again. It's really
beautiful. Pastor Lia asked all of us to pray for her mum's health. She was just this lady with
beautiful ivory hair sitting in a wheelchair. And we prayed. Pastor Lia prayed over the microphone in chinese and sang a chinese worship song. The whole scene, the whole atmosphere was just saturated with God's presence and it was
wonderful. I felt so in touch and truly impacted deep deep deep. It has changed me and I'll never really be the same again..
When the music fadesAll is stripped awayAnd I simply comeLonging just to bringSomething that's of worthThat will bless Your heartI'll bring You more than a songFor a song in itselfIs not what You have requiredYou search much deeper withinThrough the way things appearYou're looking into my heartI'm coming back to the heart of worshipWhen it's all about YouIt's all about You, JesusI'm sorry Lord for the things I've made itWhen it's all about YouIt's all about You, Jesus
