This Christmas definitely is different from the other Christmases I've had. Wow.. So much has happened, I can't begin to describe everything man.
Great stretching
Wed Christmas Svc I was on choir and bookstore, Thur I was on choir and usher. Ministry the whole day, tiring but definitely satisfying. :)Breakthroughs in ministry
Still learning more more more in bookstore as a really very new bookstore leader. I'm so privileged to rise up here, cos there's so much to it. Most of the time you gotta do the planning, the running, the cashier work, the impartation (briefing/debriefing). I'm getting used to closing accounts! It's going to be at the tip of my fingers yo! As well as orchestra and choir~New friends
Besides the new friends in my CG like Zhi Zheng and Dominic and catching up with long-time-no-see people like Irene and Jasmine Tan (I miss you!), I got to know some church regulars too. Through simple stuff like doing usher and even just waiting for the bus at the bus stop, I got to know Janice and Lucinda a little better, Abigail, Jorin, 2 guys whose names I don't know (oops), etc...Choir
Wow, wow, wow. I can't believe how much I've grown through choir. If you join choir, it's an EXPERIENCE man. The people, fun, laughter, stress, work, urgency, spirituality... everything forces you to grow. We're just so bonded lei, everyone clicks...and we share chocolate after performances! Haha! I wrote for Yong Hui in his christmas card that I like it that choir is such a spiritual ministry. When we're having rehearsals it's like we almost want to go into worship alr! HAHA. And now that Joanne's joining in, it's like soon, there'll be much impartation of the worship team culture. That's great. :)
Christmas cards
Yet another "wow!". This is indeed a test of our faithfulness man. A very challenging test. What with ministry and homework yet to be done, this is another level of slogging for a purpose. Haha. Still, it's great to see the facial expressions of the people who receive your cards, it's truly satisfying. A little effort goes a long way in touching lives. So... I gotta finish up my undone christmas cards! HAHAHA. The happiest thing that could ever happen
Both my parents came for service to support me for choir. It's my dad's first time in church. So cool. And they stayed for the whole service. Wahh... I feel so blessed by God to have my family in church this Christmas. He's moving... I wanna thank Him so much!
Keep on keeping on, giving Him my best.
This Christmas, you're covered in my love and prayers if you're reading this. :)
